Hello, world!

I've been a fandom lurker for the better part of ten years. For the past year, I have specifically lurked in bandom. For my bandom!versery, I decided to get over myself, poke my head out of my shell, and actually create a journal to use for bandom-related things and meeting people!

I'm a (very tired) student attempting to escape academia sometime in the next year, writing a thesis on fandom stories and storytelling. I like to distract myself from schoolwork by writing incredibly self-indulgent notfics about boys (and girls!) in and around bandom. Sometimes there are werewolves. I also enjoy picspams, ridiculous gifs, adorable interviews.

Furthermore, I procrastinate by cooking—a lot—so expect me to post about random adventures in (mostly) vegetarian cookery.
